Outlook Express

Switch into your Inbox and go to Tools > Message Rules > Mail.

Click on the New button on the right hand side.

In the first box choose the Conditions for your filtering. You can choose to filter messages from certain people, or containing certain words.

In the next box you can choose the Action you want to happen when Outlook Express receives an e-mail which matches your conditions. You can choose to Delete the message or Move it a selected folder. (Choose Move if you want to keep the filtered messages - you may want to do this to ensure that you do not accidentally filter out an important message).

In the last box you should see your rule for filtering written out. The blue underlined words are sections that you must edit. To do this click on the word and fill in the relevant information. Name your rule and click OK.

You should be back at the main rules page. If you have other filters you want to set up click on the New button again and repeat the process.
