We have some exciting news to share.   As of Monday, July 23rd, dowco.com Internet has been acquired by SmarttNet, one of the leading independent Internet Services Providers in British Columbia.

SmarttNet's multiple backbones and world-class Data Centre will result in more reliable connections and faster transfer speeds.   This is a great opportunity for SmarttNet to deliver exceptional connectivity which is critical for many Internet applications such as Virtual Private Networks and Voice over IP (VoIP).   With SmarttNet you will still enjoy the same personal service and support you've become accustomed to with Dowco over the years.   As an ADSL customer you will soon have the option to upgrade to the new ADSL +2 services on SmarttNet's infrastructure.   The new service will be at least twice as fast as your current service.   Details about such an upgrade will become available in August, 2007.
